What browsers are supported?

Curriculum Assistant works on Google Chrome, Microsoft Edge, and Mozilla Firefox.

How do I install it on Microsoft Edge?

Edge runs Chrome extensions, so install the Chrome Web Store version. Open the Chrome Web Store listing in Edge, select Allow extensions from other stores in the banner at the top of the page, then choose Get. Edge updates the extension from the Chrome Web Store from then on. There is no separate Microsoft Edge Add-ons listing.

What websites does the extension work on?

The extension is designed to work with the College of the Desert curriculum management system (CIM) at nextcatalog.collegeofthedesert.edu.

How do I use the chat assistant?

When you're on a supported curriculum page, click the Curriculum Assistant icon in your browser toolbar or look for the chat sidebar that appears on the page. You can ask questions about the current program or request help with writing narratives.

Is my data secure?

Yes. The extension only processes curriculum data displayed on the page you're viewing. No personal information is collected or stored. All communication with our server is encrypted. See our Privacy Policy for more details.
